Sage words from my friend, mentor and guru, Ogden Nash, who was born on the same day as me. Thanks for the heads up, Ogden…for giving me an early clue (that was in B.C., Before Clayton Makepeace)who we’re actually trying to seduce. Which reminds me of my ramen noodle days at Fox. We stuck a poster of Roseanne in the newsroom and grossed everybody out but we smoked the competition. OK, OK, it WAS easier then before the albatross of news formalism sucked everybody down the vortex of cable-deficit-disordered promoglut. But hey, aren’t we all Bozos on that retail bus?

Thank God, News Free TV is a pure entertainment play and we no longer have to endure watch or die dental hygiene breakthrough series promos and only an occasional beer guzzling frog or taco tasting terrier.

But what, you’re asking, does all this have to do with Demos much less Branding or clamoring for Clayton’s Critique when we all live in the weird daze of Five Dollar a Gal paranoia?

I had a bad preconception of FriendFeed. A sucky title made me dismiss this site at first. Just another social media site to syphon off my attention and time. Wrongo! I just discovered that FriendFeed is growing fast because of it's simplicity of use and utility of all your social sites. Check it out.
